Torrents can be added in a variety of ways. You can use a web torrent link, magnet link or upload a torrent from your browser. Once you have added a torrent it will automatically start downloading and update its progress in real time.
Once your torrent is complete you will be provided with direct high bandwidth links to your files.
What is the point of this?
This service is mainly intended for users of ISPs that heavily throttle BitTorrent traffic. By allowing you to download your torrents from a HTTP server you do away with all the bandwidth restrictions. It is also useful for users that value their anonymity. By serving downloads on an encrypted connection we guard against eavesdropping and Deep Packet Inspection methods.
How long are my files stored for?
Files are kept for 48 hours after torrent download completion. Torrents over 10 GB in size will expire after 10 days. You can delete a torrent manually by clicking on its 'x' icon.
How is this any different than a seedbox?
Seedboxes generally allow you to seed at high speeds and extended periods of time in order to build up your ratio. While we try to keep a ratio close to 1, torrents are usually stopped after a short period of time and deleted after 48 hours. Seedboxes are rented by month while we offer a pay-as-you-go service.
My web download speed sucks!
Can I only download a specific file out of the entire torrent?
Once your torrent has finished downloading you can either choose to download files one by one or package them all together in a zip file.
How can I access my balance on a different computer?
Click on Deposit and save your token URL. You can use this URL to access your balance on multiple machines. For all intents and purposes this token is your account password.
Will I be refunded if I cancel a torrent while it is downloading?
If you cancel an incomplete torrent its cost will be credited back to you.
We store the following information:
- Your account token - effectively your password
- The amount of bytes you have downloaded
- The amount of bitcoin you have deposited
- Trivial statistics such as registration date or last activity
Torrent information
While a torrent is active its hash is tied to your account token. Once that torrent is deleted all of its data is zerofilled and the record containing the hash to token lookup is deleted.
Cookies
We use a single cookie to provide you with a balance when you revisit the website. This is the token ID that is shown when you click on Deposit and can be used to access your balance on other computers. If you delete this cookie you will be given a new unique token ID.
We do not store your IP address, your browser headers, your Bitcoin sending address or any other data that may be used to identify you. All HTTP connections to this service are encrypted by default.
